Team Selection Trials 3 - 6 May 2024
The IOCA UK Team Selection Trials 2024 are being held at the Weymouth & Portland Sailing Academy on the 3 - 6 May 2024.
The Team Selection Trials is an invtational event.
Sailors are selected at this event to represent Great Britain at the Optimist World and European Championships, as well as our Development Teams in 2024.

IOCA UK Selection Policy 2024
The Selection Policy 2024 details and information on the IOCA UK/GBR Teams in 2024. At the request of the Selection Committee, the 2024 Selection Policy was amended on 25 April to a) remove the lower age limit on all IODA Championship Teams, and b) add the restriction that a sailor selected for the 2024 IODA North American Championship Team would not be eligible for selection to the 2024 Euros Team.

Equipment Declaration
All sailors must complete an Equipment Declaration before the end of Registration on Friday 3rd May 2024. The information can be updated in the Race Office if necessary by the same deadline.

Official Safety RIB Groups
The sailors will be divided into groups of 8 - 10 and assigned to an Official Safety RIB (OSR). The OSR RIBs will be identified by a coloured flag and sailors will be given a matching ribbon at Registration. For support during racing sailors should only go to their assigned OSR.
