Late Summer Championships 9 - 10 September 2023

The Late Summer Championships 2023 are being held at Plas Heli the Welsh National Sailing Academy and Events Centre, Pwllheli, North Wales on the 9 - 10 September 2023. For more information about Plas Heli have a look at their propectus.

Rolling Ranking 

The IOCA UK Late Summers Championships 2023 is an IOCA UK ranking event.

Which Fleet 

From the Early Summer Championships 2023, sailors competing in IOCA(UK) Championship weekends will be offered the choice of competing in three fleets: Main, Intermediate and Regatta.

Class-owned 6-boat trailers to borrow

IOCA(UK) own three 6-boat Optimist trailers which could be borrowed by members looking at ways to make the journey easier and more cost-effective. We have trailers located in Lymingtion, New Haven in East Sussex and at Derwent Reservoir, County Durham. Please contact admin@optimist.org.uk if interested.

Camping at Plas Heli 

There are camping and motorhome pitches on the Plas Heli site. The camping and motorhome bookings are on-line on the Plas Heli webpage.
